- Resource Sharing: Resources that support member organizations in becoming better non-profits and more effective at meeting their individual Ds related missions.
- Leadership and Organizational Education: Developing the management, governance, general leadership, and programmatic skills and expertise among the board, staff and key volunteers of members organizations.
- Membership Business Model: We maintain a business model with the majority of revenue coming from members organizations through mostly predictable dues and payments for services, the authority of the board coming from members, and an expectation that DSAIA will provide value to member organizations.
DSAIA will support and support and advance the growth and service capabilities of the local and regional Down syndrome organizations it serves, it will be the conduit of value-driven training, programs, best practices and support for it's member organizations. DSAIA will keep this focus by being financially supported by members. With our operations being financially supported by a sustainable level from membership dues and fees for services to members.
Positives of Strategy:
- Resource Sharing is a Big Reason Groups Come to DSAIA. This Kind of Support Cannot Be Gotten From Other Nationals.
