Earlier today I made the required and recommended reading list available to the Motivate (Beta) Fellows. For those of you who are not Motivate (Beta) Fellows, consider these resources as candidates to be added to your personal 2013 reading plan. If you read all of these in 2013, then I know you will really grow as a person.
I could have just posted the link to the list, and invited you to check it out. I was about ready to do just that when I realized how dangerous the list actually was. In fact, it may do you more harm than good if you're not careful.
So to prevent you from falling to danger, I want you to promise me that you will follow these 3 rules before you read any further.
Rule 1: If you have the choice between a) taking action on an idea that may relate to your purpose or b) engaging one of these resources, then you should take action - learn by doing, instead of learning by reading. My guess is that you can do both; I do all the time.
Rule 2: Each of these resources will demand something of you. Do what the tool or book tells you do, even if you don't like the resource. The value of each of these resources rests not in the knowledge they contain, but in the actions they inspire you to try. Just try it.
Rule 3: There are dozens of resources that could have been on this list. What would you have included that I didn't? Please use the comment function to share your ideas.
You promise to follow these rules? Good.
Please read on.

Your access to the Motivate (Beta) list is below. Click anywhere on this combo image to be taken to the required and recommended reading page.
The page includes an explanation of each resource, a discussion of why each was included, and some guidance on how best to use them. There are also some suggested means for you to secure these resources on your own.
Enjoy.
