This week's inspiration came from the first 2 and 1/2 minutes of the 5 and 1/2 minute video above (the remaining few minutes are pretty good too). This video gave me a needed reminder to appreciate and pay attention to simple questions. Not only that, but it reminded me to share with you 4 secrets you should know.
The "secret" road to discovering your purpose is asking yourself simple questions.
The "secret" technique to living your purpose is acting (right now) on your current best answers to those simple questions.
The "secret" problem in your life is that these simple questions can't get up on their own and scream at you, or slap you, or send you an email to remind you to answer them and act on those answers. They just sit there. They often look boring. You have to search them out or they have to be given to you.
The good news for you is that today you have a "secret" solution. You are reading this and this is reminding you about these special "secret" simple questions.
As you have engaged MightyPurpose.Me you have ran into a decent number of these "secret" simple questions. After you read this post, you should search them out on this site. They are all over the place.
What's funny is that I didn't invent any of the questions you'll find. They are just out there for any of us to inherit.
The video of above shares some of these questions, but you know there are more. When it comes to discovering and living your purpose, there may be fewer than 20 or 30 of these questions.
My guess is that almost everyone knows in there hearts these questions. They are not special because they are hard to come up with. You don't need to be the Buddha reborn, this generation's Einstein, or even all that creative to draft a fairly complete list in a few minutes. They are just laying around the world, waiting to be noticed and used.
Here are some of the simple questions from the video.
You've seen these questions and others like them before and not just here on MightyPurpose.Me. They are not unique, and nothing is stopping you from ignoring them and continuing to read this post. Remember, unlike your dog, they don't pee on the carpet to get your attention.
So, stop.
Please, stop and go back to the 6 questions above. Answer them now.
There are times when another person, with good intentions, will offer you one of the "secret" simple questions, like those above. Even though it will make you uncomfortable, they may even scream it at you, slap you, urinate on your carpet, or send you an email to get your attention.
What they are doing is a gift to you. So even if you're "too busy", or you "don't want it right now", or you think you already have the answers, or you are annoyed with the way they tried to get your attention, just remember that you have received a gift. We should all accept gifts generously.
So seriously, stop reading. I mean it. Go back to those questions above and answer them right now. Do your best. It doesn't matter if you're busy, or you don't want to think now, or even if you asked and answered these same question 10 minutes ago. Give your best answer right now.
Now act on the answers today. Actually, act on the answers right now. Take action.
Simple.
Be well,
Sterling Lynk
P.S. - As a reward for answering these questions, treat yourself to watching the full video above. Do yourself the favor and do the strengths and weaknesses exercises mentioned. You'll get a lot out of them, in particular they'll help you leverage your strengths when do take action.

- Is there a mission that gets you excited?
- When you were at the best and happiest in your life, what were you doing?
- What would you do if you had unlimited money?
- What would you do if you knew you would die in a few years?
